KENNEDY VIRTUAL TOWN HALL WITH JOSE ANDRES

"No one should ever go hungry. Especially at this moment. I'm joined by José Andrés to talk about how we can help."

Watertown, MA — José Andrés, chef and founder of World Central Kitchen, a non-profit devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters, joined Kennedy for his third in a series of virtual town halls on Wednesday night. They discussed the impact of COVID-19 on the restaurant industry and efforts to help those in need across the country, including feeding students.

Kennedy's nightly virtual town halls are part of a larger effort to connect with people online while campaign activity is temporarily suspended. Kennedy suspended campaign activity on Friday and has been bringing Massachusetts residents information on COVID-19 through Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube, including Facebook Live videos from his home each morning and nightly virtual town halls.
